Who is Gorvip and how did he come to be? It began with the idea my fiance had, carried over from our first date together, of picking some few random words from some few random books and using them as a word bank to be incorporated in a joint-effort story. The first of these exercises took its word bank from the books "The Moonraker's Bride" and "Good Omens" and the portly devil's name from the first letter of some four or so lines of the book, with necessary vowels added.
Hence was the creation of Gorvip, a rather unfortunately figured young devil who was too good for hell and not quite good enough at anything else.
